Foundation Repair

A house is only as good as the foundation it sits upon. A bad foundation can affect the entire home. It causes structural damage such as cracks in upstairs walls, poorly functioning doors and windows, unlevel floors. We may think we can live with those minor annoyances, but the problems only get worse.

Over time, deterioration causes walls to crumble and collapse. Foundation cave-ins have been known to take out sewer lines and utilities, houses, and even people.

With 40 years of experience, we’ve seen it all from cracks and crumbling to bowing and collapsing. We’ll evaluate your situation and help you decide the best course of action with the best of today’s technology.

Wall Anchors

It starts out as a seemingly innocent little crack zagging through your basement wall. No big deal… until it starts getting bigger, wider. The crack starts to shift apart and the wall begins to bow inward. The house you worked hard for becomes unstable and the value goes down.

In the past, the only practical option to repair a damaged basement wall was to remove and replace it. Thankfully, technology keeps advancing and giving us more cost-effective options for repairing cracked and bowing walls. The most popular being wall anchors.

Wall anchors are a minimally invasive, cost-effective solution to that unstable, bowing wall. They extend out to hard-packed soil where they anchor themselves and brace the foundation wall, preventing further bowing. Periodically tightening the anchors can even eventually move the walls back to their proper position.
